Packaging & Unboxing:
The Tin Hifi T2 Plus comes in a very nice packaging for an IEM at its price. It comes in a white box and inside there is a Navy Blue box. When opened, you will see the Tin Hifi T2 Plus fit nicely in a cut out with a leather texture. Under the cut out, you have the stock cable and a wide range of eartips so it was easy to get the perfect fit. They even gave a pair of foam tips. How cool is that? Even the more top tier IEM brands don’t provide foam ear tips all the time.
Accessories:
As mentioned earlier, the Tin Hifi T2 Plus comes with a stock cable and wide range of ear tips. The stock cable looks very good like the kind you get with more premium IEM’s. The ear tips had a wide variety so it was easy to get a good fit and have good isolation.

Build Quality:
Build quality for me is very important. Although I’m the very extra careful kind of person, and have never dropped an IEM before, I still feel it is essential to have a good build quality. The Tin Hifi T2 Plus looks like a very sturdy IEM and based on past experiences with their other products, their build quality seems perfect as always. The shape of the IEM also fits very well in my ears.
Sound Quality:
Now, let’s talk about the sound. The section everyone probably has been waiting for. The Tin Hifi T2 Plus is like the T4. I’m pretty sure most of you saw in other reviews that there were some similarities in the sound.
First Impressions:
The highs and mids are almost as good as the T4. It is a very big improvement compared to the original T2. I’d say without a doubt this is better than the T3 as well. It is a really good improvement. Sometimes, I tend to end up picking this up for my daily usage rather than the T4. The soundstage is also fairly wide and it was easy to pinpoint each instrument as well.
Bass:
I can feel that there was definitely improvement in the bass compared to the previous models. It sounds punchy and makes it a very fun IEM to use in my opinion. The bass is more robust and heavier compared to its predecessors. I feel the mid bass is the focus of it all. It rises and decays very beautifully with the right amount of punch and slam.
Mids:
The mids of the Tin Hifi T2 Plus are able to uncover a great amount of detail. The mids are very neutral and sounds laid-back in a way. It also has a delicate texture and doesn’t offend at all.
Treble:
The Tin Hifi T2 Plus provides a smooth and it has an airy finish with rounded edges to produce a beautifully refined sound. There is no lack in clarity and has an excellent amount of detail. The upper end is also never harsh which is good for treble sensitive users.
Special Section (Cable Pairing Recommendations):
KBEAR 8 Core UPOCC Single Crystal Copper Cable
This cable helps to increase the soundstage of the Tin Hifi T2 Plus tremendously. In terms of detail, bass, vocals and other aspects your looking for, I don’t think the cable does much. I feel that if you are looking for a new cable to replace your spoilt stock cable, this would be very ideal. It’s well built, has a nice design and does some minor tweaks to improve the T2 Plus.

TRI Through 4 Core High Purity 5N Single Crystal Copper Cable
This cable improves the soundstage, gives the bass more punch and slam, increases the treble detail and enhances the vocals of the T2 Plus. If you are going for an overall upgrade for your T2 Plus, this cable is definitely a must buy. Because of this cable, I can gladly throw my T4 in the dustbin without any regrets. It makes the T2 Plus sound much better than the T4. It also looks better and feels more sturdy that the T2 Plus stock cable for some reason even though the braiding is exactly the same. It just has a more premium feel in you hand. https://keephifi.com/collections/br...-2pin-mmcx-qdc-tfz-with-2-5-3-5-4-4-connector Conclusion: If you are on a tight budget, get this instead of the T4. If you already have the T2 Plus and need a cheap upgrade, get the TRI cable. The Tin Hifi T2 Plus is a great budget option and easily beats all my budget favorites. The T2 Plus definitely won’t disappoint you. Written by: Jason @Earphonatics Audio Reviews
